James Nunnally signs 10-day contract with Rockets

The Houston Rockets today signed forward James Nunnally to a 10-day contract.

Nunnally, listed at 6-foot-7, 208 pounds, played 13 games with the Timberwolves earlier this season. He played college basketball at UC Santa Barbara, and has played overseas in Spain, Israel, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Puerto Rico as well as in the G League.

Nunnally was named MVP of the Italian league in 2015-16.

The 25-18 Rockets got off to a very slow start this season, then picked things up and are currently the 4th seed in a very tight Western conference where even one win or loss can cause a team to fly several seeds up or down. Superstar guard James Harden is having an incredible season, averaging 34.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
