Suns waive Eric MorelandThe Phoenix Suns waived forward/center Eric Moreland today.

Phoenix signed Moreland on December 10. He only wound up playing in one game, against the Warriors on December 31. Moreland played five minutes, grabbing three rebounds.

The move reduces the Suns roster to 15 players.

The Suns last night lost a high-scoring battle with the Sixers, 132-127. Devin Booker continued his usual point-producing ways, scoring 37 points and dishing eight assists, while talented rookie center Deandre Ayton finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and two steals.

Leading the team in scoring this season is Booker at 25.5 ppg, followed by T.J. Warren at 18.5 ppg, Ayton at 17.0 ppg, and in-season addition Kelly Oubre Jr. at 12.5 ppg.

The team doesn't play today. Tomorrow they host the Clippers.
