Clippers training camp: Jared Cunningham and Joe Ingles added to rosterThe Los Angeles Clippers today announced their 2014-15 training camp roster. The team signed free agents Jared Cunningham and Joe Ingles to complete the roster with 16 players.

Cunningham, the 24th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by Cleveland has appeared in 21 career NBA games in two seasons.. He holds career averages of 2.0 points in 5.0 minutes with three NBA teams (Dallas, Atlanta and Sacramento). The Oakland, CA native has spent the past two seasons in the NBA Development League with the Texas Legends (2012-13) and Bakersfield Jam (2013-14), appearing in 37 career games (32 starts). He holds Development League averages of 16.1 points, 4.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds.

The 6’4” guard spent three years at Oregon State University where he was named All-Pac-12 First Team and All-Pac-12 Defensive Team following his junior season where he averaged 17.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game (ninth nationally in steals per game). Cunningham appeared in 98 career games (83 starts) for the Beavers, averaging 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 27.9 minutes.

Considered one of the best Australian players of all-time, Ingles has played professionally since the age of 18 in Australia, Spain and Israel. Born in Happy Valley, South Australia, Ingles has played for the Australian National Team since the 2008 Olympics. He was impressive this summer in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup where he averaged 11.4 points and 3.4 assists in six games. In the 2012 Olympics, Ingles averaged 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in six games.

Ingles started his professional career with the South Dragons of the NBL earning Rookie of the Year honors in 2007. He played for the Dragons for three seasons, earning All-NBL Third Team in 2009 as the team captured the NBL Championship. He spent the 2009-10 season with CB Granada in Spain averaging 11.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 34 games.

Ingles played three seasons for FC Barcelona (2010-13) of the Euroleague, averaging 4.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 75 games. The 6’8” small forward signed with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv in Israel for the 2013-14 season. He won the Euroleague Championship with Maccabi last season averaging 6.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 30 games. Ingles has also appeared on the summer league team for the Golden State Warriors in 2009 and 2010.

The Clippers’ training camp roster currently stands at 16 players.
