Danny Green out four weeks with hand injury
By InsideHoops.com | Jan. 13, 2014
Spurs guard Danny Green underwent an exam on Monday in San Antonio that included both an X-ray and an MRI on his left hand. Results revealed he has a nondisplaced fracture of his second metacarpal. Green suffered the injury in the first half of the Spurs-Timberwolves game on Sunday night.
He is expected to miss approximately four weeks.
The Spurs (29-8 so far this season) make the most of their roster depth and even with injuries almost always seem to overachieve, but still, Green being injured, even though he plays limited minutes, does hurt the team.
For the season, Green is averaging 7.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 22.4 minutes per game.
