Tony Parker hopes to be healthy for NBA Finals Game 1

Here is the South Florida Sun Sentinel reporting on Spurs point guard Tony Parker. The Spurs-Heat NBA Finals begin Thursday.
Tony Parker figures he is at least halfway back from the sprained left ankle that kept him out of the second half of Saturday's series-clinching victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals.
With the NBA Finals up next, the San Antonio Spurs point guard said that's more than enough to have him back on the court for Thursday's series opener of the best-of-seven series against the Miami Heat at the AT&T Center.
"If I'm 50 percent I'll try to play," he said Tuesday at the Spurs' practice facility. "If I'm under 50 percent, we can argue.''
There were no arguments Tuesday with coach Gregg Popovich, with Parker held out of practice, with a return expected at Wednesday's practice.
"It's perfect timing to get five days and to get better and to be ready for Game 1,'' Parker said.
