According to Synergy Sports Tech, Daniels led the NBA with an effective field goal percentage of 78 percent on spot-up jumpers.

The 24-year-old has appeared in 95 regular season games (one start) during his three-year NBA career with the Houston Rockets (2013-14 to 2014-15), Minnesota Timberwolves (2014-15) and Charlotte Hornets (2014-15 to 2015-16) and has averaged 4.8 points and 1.0 rebounds in 10.0 minutes while shooting 43.1 percent from the field, 43.0 percent from three-point range and 72.7 percent from the free throw line.

In his first career playoff game, Daniels made a game-winning, go-ahead three-pointer for Houston with 11.0 seconds remaining in overtime in Game 3 of the 2014 Western Conference First Round at Portland.

Daniels also competed in 48 games (37 starts) during the 2013-14 season for the NBA Development League’s Rio Grande Valley Vipers, where he was selected to the 2014 D-League All-Star Game and named Third-Team All-D-League. He averaged 21.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 35.4 minutes while shooting 42.2 percent from the field, 40.1 percent from three-point range and 81.6 percent from the free throw line. Daniels led the D-League in three-point field goals (240) and three-point field goal attempts (599) and ranked third in total points scored (1,032).

The Roanoke, Va. native went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft following a four-year career at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he led the Atlantic 10 conference and ranked third in the NCAA in three-point field goals made (124) during his senior season in 2012-13.
