Friday night at the Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn campus (subway stop: Dekalb Avenue), the EBC Rucker Park will represent itself in an exhibition basketball game against Washington DC's Goodman League. It's sure to be yet another highlight-filled, action-packed event in a summer of games made even more intense thanks to the ongoing NBA lockout.

The EBC vs Goodman game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET start. This assuming the players make it to the game on time. Today in New York City, NBA owners are meeting with the player union, and lots of players are expected to attend. If it runs late, it's possible some players involved in tonight's games may be late. But hopefully the start time stays more or less on schedule.

Although the EBC plays their league outdoors at Harlem's famous Rucker Park, the game will be in the LIU-Brooklyn campus' gym, at 1 University Plaza (corner of Flatbush/Dekalb Ave) in Brooklyn. Tickets are said to be $40, though that was in advance and we don't know what they'll cost if you simply go right to the box office the day of the game. Probably still $40, but that's not confirmed.

The Goodman League, which this summer has been led by Kevin Durant, John Wall, Michael Beasley and other NBA stars, has racked up some big victories against a few of the top summer leagues in other major cities. This is the first EBC-representing game of the summer that InsideHoops.com knows of. And it may be the EBC's last action of the year until their regular league resumes next June as usual.

Some of the NBA players expected to play in the EBC-Goodman League basketball game tonight include Durant, Joakim Noah, Josh Howard, Corey Brewer, DeMarcus Cousins, Wes Matthews, Jeff Green, Beasley, Josh Selby, Taj Gibson, Kemba Walker, Metta World Peace (Ron Artest), JJ Hickson and Gary Forbes.
