New York Knicks Blog: Knicks beat Lakers
Knicks Basketball Game, Jan. 30, 2007

New York 99, LA Lakers 94 -- The AP reports: Even with Kobe Bryant banned from the arena, the New York Knicks knew not to expect an easy game. The Los Angeles Lakers certainly didn't give them one. The Knicks held off a late rally Tuesday night, handing the Lakers their season-high third straight loss with a 99-94 victory. Bryant was suspended one game without pay earlier Tuesday for hitting San Antonio's Manu Ginobili in the face late in the Lakers' overtime loss to the Spurs on Sunday... Eddy Curry had 27 points and nine rebounds and Stephon Marbury scored 22 points for the Knicks, who led most of the game but never pulled away. David Lee grabbed 13 rebounds and Jamal Crawford added 17 points... Lamar Odom had 25 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Lakers. Vladimir Radmanovic added 18 points and nine boards and Smush Parker scored 14 points.

New York Knicks Blog: Knicks Handle Sixers
By InsideHoops.com, Jan. 10, 2007

On Wednesday in Madison Square Garden the Knicks handled the 76ers. In the first half New York was on fire, though the offense was extremely low-level as far as basketball is concerned. They mostly stood still, passing the ball back and forth in three-point range until a player randomly decided to shoot. The shots went in, so they led. It worked, but it's not good basketball, and it won't work against teams that can defend better than Philly can.

Nate Robinson returned tonight. Fans didn't really care. Nate got some applause, but most fans remained silent.

David Lee continues to play great and do plenty of things that don't show up on a stat sheet.

We'll be updating New York Knicks news and this Knicks blog regularly all season.
