Spurs trade Beno Udrih to Timberwolves for pick

| Oct. 29, 2007

raptors cut luke jacksonThe San Antonio Spurs announced today that they have traded guard Beno Udrih to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for a protected 2008 second round draft pick.

InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner hears the Wolves also received cash considerations in the deal, and that they are going to waive Udrih. Strange deal. I haven't confirmed this new info as a fact yet but it came from a trusted source.

The 6-3 Udrih was selected by the Spurs in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft, with the 28th overall pick. In three seasons in San Antonio he appeared in 207 regular season games, averaging 5.2 points and 1.8 assists in 13.0 minutes.
